The Triplett CamView IP Pro (model 8070) is a handheld tester for technicians installing and maintaining video surveillance systems. It displays live video from IP cameras (ONVIF, H.264) and SD analog NTSC/PAL cameras on a backlit 4 in. color TFT, powers the camera under test over PoE or a 12 VDC output, and drives analog PTZ heads through its RS485 port. A built-in DHCP server lets it configure and address cameras with or without a live network, while ping, network sniff, and subnet list functions cover the LAN-side checks.
