The FLEXIM FLUXUS F705 — carried on FLEXIM's permanent clamp-on platform under the legacy designation FLUXUS ADM 7407 — is a fixed-installation, non-intrusive ultrasonic flow meter for liquids. Its transducers clamp onto the outside of the pipe and measure flow by the ultrasonic transit-time difference method, so there is no wetted part, no pressure loss, and no need to cut into the line. The transmitter handles up to two measuring channels, pipe diameters from 6.35 to 1600 mm (0.25 to 63 in), and a bi-directional flow velocity range of 0.01 to 25 m/s with a repeatability of 0.15% of reading. With standard clamp-on transducers the medium temperature range is -40 to 199 °C (-40 to 390 °F). It runs on 100-230 V AC (50/60 Hz) and is used for permanent flow monitoring in water and wastewater, chemical, oil and gas, power, and general process plants.
