FLEXIM CDK1N52 Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Transducer — 0.5 MHz, Liquids

The FLEXIM CDK1N52 is a 0.5 MHz clamp-on, non-intrusive shear-wave ultrasonic transducer for liquid flow measurement in FLEXIM's FLUXUS platform. It mounts on the outside of the pipe wall, so nothing wets or penetrates the medium — no pressure loss, no moving parts, and no line shutdown to install. Working on the transit-time difference principle, the transducers launch ultrasonic signals diagonally with and against the flow; the measured difference in transit time yields the mean flow velocity and volumetric flow rate. The CDK1N52 covers roughly 200–2,000 mm inner pipe diameter (recommended; 100–2,400 mm extended, approx. 8–79 in) at a minimum wall thickness of 5 mm, handles pipe-surface temperatures from -40 to +130 °C, and carries an IP66 PEEK housing with a 316L stainless-steel cover on a 5 m type-1699 cable. Paired with a FLUXUS transmitter, it measures acoustically conductive liquids across water and wastewater, oil and gas, chemical processing, and power and district-energy plants.
