PROGNOST®-SenSim signal simulation device Handheld Model HH1-V3 & GD1 Generator

The PROGNOST®-SenSim is a portable sensor-signal simulator developed by PROGNOST Systems for proof-testing machinery protection and condition monitoring loops without touching the installed sensors. Instead of exciting or dismounting a sensor, with the damage and recalibration risks that brings, it injects simulated static and dynamic signals directly into the measuring loop, reproducing 4-20 mA, ICP/IEPE accelerometer, eddy current, voltage, trigger, lube-oil pulse and strain-gauge outputs at frequencies up to 10 kHz. A two-channel architecture lets reliability and instrumentation teams exercise dual-channel and 2ooX voting safety schemes in parallel, supporting IEC 61511-compliant proof testing of Safety Instrumented Systems on compressors and other critical machinery.

This listing covers the two components that make up a working SenSim setup: the HH1-V3 handheld, an IP67-rated, battery-powered touchscreen unit that runs the configuration software, and the GD1 signal generator, which receives its configuration over USB and can then be disconnected to run the test routine on its own. A built-in library of common eddy current, acceleration and velocity sensor types keeps setup quick, with values entered directly in engineering units such as g, mil and bar.
