The Phoenix Contact RAD-900-IFS (Order No. 2901540) is a Radioline wireless transceiver for the license-free 900 MHz band (902-928 MHz) in North America, built on Trusted Wireless 2.0 with 128-bit AES encryption, frequency hopping, and coexistence management. It carries serial data or I/O signals over distances of up to roughly 32 km line of sight, in point-to-point, star, or mesh networks of up to 250 stations, and I/O assignment is set with a simple thumbwheel — no programming required. Integrated RS-232 and RS-485 ports serve serial devices directly, stations can be extended with Radioline I/O modules over the DIN rail bus connector, and a PLC/Modbus RTU dual mode is available via the PSI-CONF software.

This listing is for one RAD-900-IFS wireless module in new, factory-sealed condition. The module provides an RSMA (female) antenna connection and mounts on standard NS 35 DIN rail, with transmission power adjustable up to 1 W and data rates selectable from 16 to 500 kbps to trade speed for range.
