The Siemens 6SE6440-2AD31-5DA1 is a MICROMASTER 440 three-phase AC drive rated 15 kW / 20 hp in high overload (constant torque) duty, with 18.5 kW / 25 hp available in low overload duty. It operates from a 3 AC 380 to 480 V supply at 47 to 63 Hz and delivers 32 A continuous output in high overload mode.

The unit is frame size FSD with IP20 / UL open type protection, measuring 275 mm wide by 520 mm high by 245 mm deep and weighing 17 kg. Cooling is by integrated fan. Standard I/O consists of six digital inputs, two analog inputs, two analog outputs, three relay outputs and one PTC/KTY motor thermistor interface. Motor cable cross-section up to 35 mm² is accommodated at the motor terminals.

Control and monitoring parameters are accessible through the MICROMASTER 440 parameter set, with output frequency up to 650 Hz for V/f control. Overload capability in high overload mode is 150 percent output current for 60 s, followed by 100 percent for 240 s in a 300 s cycle. Power factor is 0.95 and efficiency is 0.96.
