The Amprobe AT-4000 Series is an advanced wire tracer built for electricians and facility technicians who need to follow wiring hidden in walls, floors, and conduit. It traces both energized and de-energized circuits without interrupting power, pinpointing breakers, shorts, open or broken wires, neutrals, and ground lines. The T-4000-A universal transmitter operates from 9–300 V AC/DC and switches automatically between live and dead circuits, while the R-4000 receiver displays signal strength to home in on the conductor, with up to 20 ft of in-air range in short mode and 12 ft in open mode.
