ProSoft MVI69-MNET Modbus TCP/IP Client/Server Communications

ProSoft Technology’s MVI69-MNET puts a Modbus TCP/IP client/server interface directly in the CompactLogix rack. The module mounts in one 1769 slot and is recognized as an I/O module by the processor: ladder logic moves data between controller memory and the module’s 5,000-word register database, while the Ethernet side handles Modbus TCP/IP traffic asynchronously. On the network it can actively poll remote devices with up to 100 client commands and simultaneously answer up to five MBAP clients and five encapsulated Modbus RTU/ASCII connections through its 10/100Base-T port.

This listing is for the MVI69-MNET module (MPN MVI69-MNET), compatible with CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 LRP controllers except the 1769-QBFC1B, 1769-L16x and 1769-L18x.
