Emerson DeltaV VE6060 Dual Single-Mode Media Converter Assembly (Carrier KL1720X1-BA1)

The Emerson DeltaV VE6060 is the Dual Single-Mode Media Converter Assembly from the DeltaV Media Converters family, used to extend the DeltaV Control Network over single-mode fiber where copper Ethernet cannot reach. Each assembly combines a Dual Media Converter Carrier (part KL1720X1-BA1) with two 1-port single-mode media converters, providing a redundant pair on a single carrier for redundant control-network links. Every converter presents one 10/100BASE-TX copper port on an RJ45 connector and one 100BASE-FX single-mode fiber port on an LC connector, both full-duplex, converting copper Ethernet to fiber and back to carry the control network up to 15 km over 9/125 micron single-mode fiber (12 dBm minimum power budget). The carrier provides duplicated 24 V DC terminals for redundant, daisy-chainable power. Rated -40 to 70 °C with conformal coating and IP20 protection, and hazardous-area certified for Class I, Division 2, Groups A–D (T4) and ATEX/IECEx Ex ec IIC T4 Gc, it is designed to link field-mounted CHARM I/O Cards (CIOC) and other DeltaV and DeltaV SIS nodes back to the control room.
