The Emerson DeltaV VE4001S2T2B5 is a 32-channel discrete input (DI) card for the DeltaV M-series Traditional I/O platform, monitoring 24 VDC dry-contact field devices — limit switches, pushbuttons, position switches, and relay contacts — for a DeltaV controller. It is a Series 2 dry-contact input card: each of the 32 channels senses a voltage-free contact at 24 VDC drawing about 5 mA, with the card consuming 12 VDC / 75 mA from the local bus and 24 VDC / 150 mA of bussed field power. The card provides galvanic isolation between the field side and the DeltaV LocalBus, mounts on an M-series I/O carrier, and lands field wiring through a 40-pin mass termination block (KJ4001X1-CK1).
