Allen-Bradley 1769-OW16 CompactLogix 16-Point Relay Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-OW16 is a Compact I/O relay output module built for the CompactLogix and MicroLogix control platforms, providing 16 individually normally-open (Form A) relay outputs arranged as two electrically isolated groups of eight points each. Every point is rated 2.5 A continuous, with a maximum of 20 A per module and 10 A per common, across a wide operating range of 5–265V AC or 5–125V DC. Because the outputs are true dry relay contacts rather than solid-state switches, a single module can drive a mix of AC and DC field loads on the same rack. Response delay is 10 ms on and 10 ms off, maximum heat dissipation is 4.75 W, and the module draws 205 mA at 5.1V or 180 mA at 24V from the CompactLogix backplane. It is typically used to switch motor starters, solenoids, contactors, and pilot lamps in CompactLogix-based machine and process control panels.
