The ABB TB82PH2110101 is a two-wire, loop-powered pH/ORP/pIon transmitter from ABB's TB82pH Advantage Series, used for continuous water-quality monitoring in chemical processing, power generation, pulp & paper, and water & wastewater treatment. It accepts glass, antimony, or custom iso-potential pH electrodes as well as platinum or gold ORP sensors, displaying 0–14 pH (–2 to +16 pH over-range) or ±1999 mV for ORP/pIon, with a display accuracy of ±0.01 pH or ±1 mV. The transmitter outputs an isolated, configurable 4–20 mA signal with HART digital communication superimposed on the loop, operates from 14 to 53 Vdc (14 to 42 Vdc where CSA, FM, or ATEX hazardous-location certification applies), and reads process temperature from –20 to 300°C while itself rated for –20 to 60°C ambient. The housing is a NEMA 4X / IP65 powder-coated aluminum enclosure measuring 144 × 144 × 171 mm (1/2 DIN).
The model suffix 2110101 decodes per ABB's ordering matrix to the Advanced programming level with HART digital communications (Advanced programming is required whenever HART, Fieldbus, or PROFIBUS PA is selected), the standard integrated lightning/surge suppressor, the standard powder-coated aluminum housing, pipe-mount hardware, no third-party hazardous-location agency approval (no FM, CSA, or ATEX marking), and a stainless steel identification tag.
