The Rosemount 3144P temperature transmitter (model code D1A1E5M5) is a field-mount, dual-compartment instrument with single-sensor universal input, accepting RTD, thermocouple, millivolt and ohm sensors. It produces a 4–20 mA output with HART protocol, with selectable HART revisions 5 and 7, and includes a large LCD display (option M5).

Code D1 specifies the aluminum dual-compartment field housing with ½–14-inch NPT conduit entry; code E5 certifies USA explosion-proof, dust ignition-proof and non-incendive operation.
