MOXA EDS-308-SS-SC EtherDevice Switch

The Moxa EDS-308-SS-SC is an 8-port unmanaged switch from the EDS-308 series, Moxa's economical line of industrial Ethernet switches for control cabinets and hazardous areas (ATEX and Class I Division 2 rated). It combines six 10/100BaseT(X) copper ports with two 100BaseFX single-mode fiber ports on SC connectors that reach a typical 40 km — the layout used to tie remote plant segments together over long fiber runs. A built-in relay contact flags power failures and DIP-switch-selected port breaks, and store-and-forward switching with broadcast storm protection keeps traffic stable with zero configuration.

Power lands on redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs (9.6 to 60 VDC operating range) through a removable terminal block with reverse-polarity and overload protection, all in an IP30 metal housing that clips onto a DIN rail or wall-mounts with an optional kit.
