The Cisco ASR 1002-X is a 2RU aggregation services router that integrates the route processor, embedded services processor and SIP into a single chassis. It carries six built-in Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports and three shared port adapter (SPA) slots, with ESP forwarding capacity of 5 Gbps by default, software-upgradable to 10, 20 or 36 Gbps, plus hardware-based crypto.
