The Cisco ASR1000-ESP100 is the 100-Gbps Embedded Services Processor for the ASR 1000 family, the forwarding engine that carries the QuantumFlow-based data plane in ASR 1006 and ASR 1013 chassis, with support for 1+1 hardware redundancy. It sustains up to 100 Gbps of bandwidth with hardware crypto rated to 29 Gbps of IPsec throughput.
