ABB RMBA-01 Modbus Adapter Module — New in Box

The ABB RMBA-01 is the Modbus fieldbus option module for ABB ACS800-series drives: it seats in an option slot on the drive's RMIO control board (or mounts remotely on an AIMA-01 module adapter) and joins the drive to a Modbus RTU network as a slave over galvanically isolated RS-485. The multi-drop link scales to 247 stations including repeaters — 31 stations plus a repeater per segment — over bus runs up to 1,200 m at 600 bit/s to 19.2 kbit/s, with built-in active termination selected by DIP switch. It draws just 140 mA at 5 V from the drive and is configured from the drive's control panel.

This listing is a new-in-box unit: the original carton with the printed RMBA-01 user's manual, exactly as photographed. The detachable 4-pole terminal block visible in the photos takes the shielded twisted-pair bus cable (Belden 9841/9842 or equivalent), alongside the 38-pin parallel bus connector that seats the module in the drive.
